So you've decided to drive on up to Shadow Accord for the first time.

Um. So. What now?
First, check to see if you're a LARPer. You are? Good.
If you are brand new, never been on site before, we suggest that you leave your luggage and garb in your car for now. We'll get back to that. Just bring yourself, your wallet/id for checking in, and any character notes/character sheets you might have to the Tavern Loft.
Getting to the tavern: Walk from the parking lot past the exit with the big rock in the middle. It is located on one end of the wooden fence and opens up to a larger road. Across that road is the largest building you can see. Yes, that's the tavern area. The doors on the left side of the building are generally open once check in starts. Please see the map if you need more information.
Once upstairs, there is one to three character guides wandering about. After a short OOG tour of camp, they will help you get your first character sorted out and then you'll go through checkin. Expect the entire process to take at least an hour your first game. We have a lot of material to go through. If you have a group of people who are coming new, add more time for that. We want to make sure you are all prepared and comfortable before we release you into the world.
Event fees are $20 for new players. You must prove you are over 18 when you first play. There will be forms.
Okay, now you have your character sorted out...but your stuff is still in your car! Depending on what faction you are playing, there are lots of bunk options. Your character guide will help you find a good starting point.
Since you've now seen them, collect your things, find a bunk, get in garb and have a blast!
