Safety Guidelines
Be Aware! We are out in the woods. Be aware of your surroundings, such as logs, holes, branches and especially players lying on the ground.
Broken Weapons if at any time your weapon breaks in any way (including losing some padding from the outside), do not use the weapon.
Grappling do not grapple, tackle, barge or trip the other players. Ever. No, really.
Illegal Striking Areas No In-Game effect will harm a character if the player is struck in the head, neck, hands, feet or groin. You cannot use those areas to block attacks. You may deliver touch attacks on hands.
No Power Blows You do not need to send your opponent into orbit. You only need to tap her so she knows she has been hit.
Physical Roleplay is a style of play where players will physically interact with each other. For example they will actually pick another player up, drag him, or remove his armor. People have their comfort zone rules, and you need to abide by them. If you want to engage in this type of role-play with another player, you must ask them first. You cannot use physical roleplay to stop the use of Rulebook powers. Please remember first and foremost to be safe. You are never allowed to physically block a player's access through a door for safety reasons.
Stand Down Sometimes during an event there will be a need to pause game-play, usually if someone may have been injured. When you hear someone call out Stand Down! Immediately stop what you are doing, drop to one knee, crouch or stand without moving from your place. Please do not talk or move around until the person who called the Stand Down says Three, two, one, Lay On! Anyone can call Stand Down.
