Sex is a roleplay thing only. I'm repeating that... sex is roleplay only. We are at a Boy Scout Camp people!
In roleplay, there is no official contraception in the dark ages. Some women have been known to visit the apothecary for herbs in secret, but those can be hit or miss. Shadow Accord does not have any official system to determine pregnancy. We leave that sticky business to the players. ST will never force any player to roleplay a pregnancy if they are uncomfortable (the rules of physical roleplay and boundaries apply to ST camp even more so).
Male characters who exchange a "fade to black" scene with with a woman or three could expect to have a child on the way... because the RP of the child bearing is done on the part of the woman.)
Keep in mind that roleplaying (and representing) raising a baby in Ushaw Moor is near impossible (must be 18 and over to play!). Children are elsewhere during event or don't survive.
